MSWL: I love stories that make me laugh, don’t shy away from difficult topics, and/or make readers feel seen. I love stories about characters trying to figure their lives out, who may be a little messy about it along the way. I’m drawn to a wide range of themes—friendship, family, love, career, mental health, identity, belonging—but I’m open to everything. What pulls me in most is always an engaging voice, whatever the subject.

Shauna Robinson writes contemporary women’s fiction with humor and heart. She is the author of Must Love Books, The Banned Bookshop of Maggie Banks, and The Townsend Family Recipe for Disaster. Her books have been named selections for Indie Next, Library Reads, and the Junior Library Guild. Originally from San Diego, she now lives in Virginia with her husband and their sleepy greyhound. She is represented by Katelyn Detweiler at Jill Grinberg Literary Management.
